History:	The first 1098 registered on this site. I was fortunate to be able to buy one of the bikes sent from the factory for the world launch at Kyalami Race Track.
Modifications:	Open clutch cover, fork adjusters. DDA system installed and enabled. Carbon hugger and full Akrapovic system on order.
Problems:	Can,t stay off it!
Comments:	The most exciting Ducati so far. Superb suspension and brakes. Really strong midrange, wheelies off the throttle in third. Great high speed handling on bumpy roads, especially high speed corners ( 250+ km/hr ). Turns easily and holds lines very well. Much louder than expected with stock pipes. Comfortable for a sports bike but no wind protection from standard screen.
