In depth

History:	One of the first 20 in South Africa (aside from the few that were left behind after the world launch at Kyalami). Had an opportunity to jump the queue & I grabbed at it. Finance approved on the Wednessday, dropped a Ducati Sport1000 on the Sunday (on loan) & then picked up the new 1098 on Tuesday the 24th of April. What a week! Now sitting with a few insurance issues & 3 bikes: BMW F650 GS Dakar (everyone needs some variety), Aprilia RSV Mile (needs to find a good home) & a pretty little 1098 (that needs running in).
Modifications:	None yet, but we'll see… (pipes top of the list)
Problems:	Aside from a few engine stalls – nothing.
Comments:	Feel much more at home on it than I did on the Apriia. She feels smaller & lower at the front. Nimble, planted & deceptively fast. It's a real head turner. Can't wait to have her run in – she feels better each mile I do.
